2008 Woman of Distinction 
 Dr. Williams received this auspicious recognition from the California Legislature  for her years of dedicated community service and support in San Bernardino County. Her leadership in transforming the lives of at-risk youth, drug addicts, truants, pregnant teens and blighted neighborhoods was also acknowledged.
 
Dr. Williams holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Theology (1984) from Columbia Union College, a Master of Divinity Degree from Andrews University Theological Seminary (1989) and a Doctor of Ministry Degree from Boston University School of Theology (1998).

An internationally acclaimed author, Dr. Williams is a successful minister of the Gospel, an in-demand preacher, teacher and counselor whose ministry crosses various racial and religious boundaries. Her many accomplishments and awards include the distinction of being:


• A recipient of the prestigious Fellowship (1996) from the Episcopal College of Preachers, National Cathedral, Washington, DC;

• Alumni of the Year (2000), Andrews University in Michigan; and

• The Association of Adventist Women & North American Division Women’s Ministries Woman of the Year (1995).

 Dr. Williams is the author of three books: her best selling autobiography, Will I Ever Learn? (1996) promoted worldwide; 

Anticipation (2000) and Secrets of a Happy Heart (2004). 
 
 Dr. Williams’ influence is profoundly felt around the world by countless participants who have been healed through her ministry. She has touched the lives of millions through her books, preaching and groundbreaking counseling and widely applauded television series A Painted World: Portraits of Illusions and Reality. Her spiritual journey entitled Damascus Road: Hyveth Williams’ Conversion Story is televised regularly on TBN (Trinity Broadcasting Network)
